In order to ensure a relaxing and stress-free holiday we have put some simple policies in place.

Deposits & Refunds
Deposits
Required at the Time of Booking: 50% of the Total Balance
eTransfer is the preferred payment method for deposits.
We also accept AMEX, Visa, and Mastercard.
Note: 3.5% Convenience Fee will be applied to all debit/credit card transactions.
Refunds
100% refund (Minus $50 administration fee) if cancellation made prior to 30 days before arrival date.
Cancellations to reservation dates that come later than the described deadline will result in the automatic loss of the deposit.
If Reservation made through AIRBNB, please follow AIRBNB policies.
Cavendish Beach Music Festival
During Cavendish Beach Music Festival
Please note, no visitors allowed during the festival weekend. All cars and guests not registered will be asked to vacate the premises by our management team. We want to ensure that all our guests have a safe and enjoyable weekend.
CBMF Reservations
For the week of the Cavendish Beach Music Festival (CBMF), we require a 50% non-refundable advance deposit at the time of booking which will be applied to your final payment upon check-in. As per this policy, there will be no nightly refunds for early departures of less than a minimum stay of 3 nights during the festival week or for last minute cancellations. Should a guest cancel a confirmed reservation, they can not reassign their cottage to another party.
Please NOTE: Only guests/vehicles registered on the property during the festival weekend will be permitted access. During the festival extra visitors/vehicles are not permitted. All cars and guests not registered will be asked to vacate the premises by the management team.

This policy is for Inn the Woods Cottages, SeaShell Motel, and The Olde Farmhouse.
This policy is applied to guarantee this experience for all our guests.
Damage Deposit
A $200 damage deposit may be collected at time of check-in. You can pay by cash, etransfer or credit card.
Important to note that there will be an additional $200 + HST cleaning/repainting fee applied to the credit card on file should evidence of smoking inside the cottage be found. Evidence includes but is not limited to: Smell of smoke/substance, loose butts, ashes, etc.
In the event the interior or exterior of a cottage is damaged (pine walls, material furniture that is costly to remove odor, etc.) guests may be subject to additional replacement and/or repair fees, Re-Inspection fees, and/or legal action.
Occupancy Policies
We have a maximum per unit policy. All units are priced for up to 4 people in the two-bedroom units and up to 6 people for the three-bedroom units. There is a charge of $20 per person per night over the allotted advertised pricing. Maximum allowable occupancy in a 2-bedroom is 6 people. Maximum allowable occupancy in a three bedroom is 8 people. Inn the Woods Cottages has a no tent or trailer onsite policy.
Should extra people arrive beyond the maximum allowable occupancy, we will be asking you to vacate the premises. We have insurance policies to adhere for maximum cottage loads.
Selling Your Reservation
This current trend is strictly forbidden. All reservations are non-transferable. Names may be added to the reservation if you are expecting guests traveling separately, but the person who booked the reservation must be present upon check in. Package offerings/passes will only ever be given to the person who made the reservation.
Pet Policy
Currenly not accepting pets at any of our locations.
Previous Policy: A select number of cottages are pet friendly. Small pets (dogs under 30 lbs) may be allowed with owner approval at time of reservation.
There is an additional flat rate of $95 per pet. We kindly ask that all dogs are placed into kennels when left alone. Dogs are not permitted on furniture. We ask that owners pick up after dogs outside. Dogs must be leashed when outside. A $200 damage deposit must be paid before arrival.
Smoking Policy
Our properties are 100% Smoke Free. Please take careful note that this includes ALL substances.
Designated Smoking Areas:
Cottage decks (outside only) – ash pots are provided on every deck.
Fire Pits- unless requested not to, as they are public areas and a level of courtesy is requested.
Cannabis Policy
Inn the Woods Cottages are 100% Cannabis Free. The use and consumption of cannabis is prohibited on our property through the terms of the rental.
Check out time is anytime before 10:00 AM.

If we are not notified, and you stay past 10:00 AM, we will assume you are taking advantage of this offer and bill your account accordingly.
